2010 Philippines National Elections

Being a concerned citizen, on May 2010, I will again be at the voting precint to exercise my RIGHT and RESPONSIBILITY-TO VOTE! Elections must push through because I want to vote. Majority of the Filipino, if not all, wants to vote and be counted-fairly.

Why are there people in our country who always want to suppress the rights of others? Do they feel they have the monopoly of knowledge in running the government?

Filipinos must ensure that they will be able to vote and their votes will be properly accounted for to whom they really have chosen. All of us must guard our ballots-computerized or manual. Being an IT person, I believe that poll automation is NOT AN ABSOLUTE cure to cheating in the elections. Filipinos are well known to get away with anything as long as they want it-especially politicians. That's why, we citizens must always be on-guard and be not afraid to voice-out. We must start NOW! Those who wants to run MUST FEEL OUR PRESENCE and we must MAKE THEM FEEL CAUTIOUS and CONSCIOUS OF OUR WATCHFUL EYES. With the vast technology(celphones, internet, print media, tv and others) that we can deploy and utilize as individuals, we can therefore cannot offer anymore excuses if we are again cheated by politicians with only their personal agenda in mind.

To ensure that I can actively participate in the upcoming elections, I registered in one of the very active movement now-BOTO MO, i-PATROL MO: AKO ANG SIMULA. I want to be the START personally. I want to involve myself first so that I can demand from others to be involve on their own.

So fellow Filipino citizens, LET'S BEGIN TO BE INVOLVE even in any little way we can for a BETTER PHILIPPINES for the FUTURE FILIPINOS.
